Fractal art from natural elements
Because of the process required to create these pieces, I call them mandalas. 'Fractal art' would be the proper term but that sounds harsh and uninviting. Working on these pieces was a meditative process: during the search for the element that would serve as the base photo for a mandala, I found myself walking with purpose and seeing with intention.
This collection is the result of seasons of walks at two botanical gardens on two different continents.
*Prints in this collection are available on fine art paper, metal, silk, mirror and acrylic. For simplicity's sake, only fine art paper and metal prints are listed here; please contact me directly if interested in another print medium.
